SGV Roofs is a new platform. We aren't going to put fake reviews on this page, stock photos of "satisfied customers," or recycled testimonials we wrote ourselves. Most homeowner-facing roofing sites do that. We won't.

Even though SGV Roofs is new, the licensed roofing contractors we connect you with aren't. They're established businesses operating in the San Gabriel Valley. Here's how you can verify any contractor we send your way:

• CSLB License Lookup. Every contractor we work with is licensed by the California Contractors State License Board. You can look up any contractor at cslb.ca.gov and see their license status, bond, and complaint history.
• Google Reviews. Search the contractor by name on Google. Read the reviews. Look at how they respond to negative feedback, not just the number of stars.
• BBB Profile. Check the Better Business Bureau profile for accreditation status and complaint history.
• Ask for references. Any reputable contractor will give you the names and phone numbers of recent customers in your area. Call them.
• Ask for proof of insurance. Roofing contractors should carry general liability and workers compensation insurance. Ask for current certificates before any work starts.
